In addition to the previously named items, I carry a spray can of 3-in-1
oil, which I use as a penetrant for rusty bolts (on alternator housings, for
example) and a 3-pound sledge hammer, which I use to rap the end of a wrench
or socket wrench to 'shock' a bolt lose.  Also can be used as a powerful
hammer on the end of a large screwdriver to pry something lose.  And how
about one of those cheapo blankets that you can kneel on when changing a
tire or lie on when looking under a car.
