all 57 and 58 radios for plymouth are interchangeable. There were 4
different ones. First with manual tunning, Second with push buttons, third
a 57 only, search tune with a plug in for the record player option, and
forthly, a 58 without the plug in on the radio housing.  58 did not offer a
record playr but did offer a short wave converter similar to later after
market fm converter but the short wave converter had a tube in.     David
