Brent Burger says that he's double-boiler boiled the crap from shoe linings. Also, synthetic rear end lube should not be used on our cars (or, even on the new-ones, according to a friend's dealer, on his 300 Heritage model) as it works too well, and escapes thru seals and gets onto the brakes, which,on our cars, causes the rear wheels to lock up. I had a very touchy situation at Carlisle this year with a leaking right hand wheel cylinder. Stopping was a real challenge. I nursed my 56 Fury home and replaced the seal in the leaky cylinder and replaced all four front shoes before it would stop smoothly and evenly.John Teske **************Psssst...Have you heard the news?
