Re: [FWDLK] I need your help on 55-62 cars

Hi all,

I received this question about body style designations for Forward Look era
cars. As far as I know, the first A bodies were 1960 and the first B bodies
were 1962. I seem to recall that the full-size cars weren't actually called
C bodies by Chrysler until sometime after 1962 - like maybe 65 or so - but
can't remember for sure. Except for the Valiant I would tend to regard the
55-61 Plymouths and also the 118-inch wheelbase 60-61 Dodges as kinda-sorta
comparable to the intermediate-size B bodies, with the rest kinda-sorta C
body size, but I'm unaware of any body designations for any of them. Can
anyone clarify this?

Thanks,
