I sold a set of almost-like new, original equipment seat covers that are all leather in the 1964 vertical pleat pattern to a fellow 6 months ago. He disappeared and the covers are in two bicycle boxes ready to ship on the side of the house. I consider them abandoned. I don't feel like storing them indefinitely, and they are bound to get soaked when the rains come (soon). The leather is in very good to superior condition, and you could pay $2000 for a newly made set but would get modern leather that is stretched to increase surface area and is thin. This is the real deal here and are very thick and heavy. They need to be worked and softened, but otherwise are pretty darned nice. They could fit 65 perhaps, but are most correct for 1964 as far as I know.
If you are interested in a cherry set of light medium blue seat covers (there was only one blue in 1964 as far as I know), please write me off list at
imperialist1960@xxxxxxxxx Perhaps I can help your car out. I am interested in finding them a home. No reasonable offer rejected.
