"Born to Kill" - 1942 Chrysler Crown Imperial

For those of you into film noir and/or 1941 Crown Imperials watch the film
"Born to Kill" with Lawrence Tierney, Claire Trevor and Walter Slezak.

There are a number of old Mopars in it including, of course, the
prerequisite long-wheelbase DeSoto cabs. Although the film was
made/released in 1947 all the cars are 1941 models and there are no postwar
models.

The best scene is when Walter Slezak (playing the detective) walks up the
drive to a large mansion where a wedding is taking place. He walks by a
Packard Super Eight Custom 180 limou and approaches two chauffeurs playing
cards using the left front fender of a 1941 Chrysler Crown Imperial as a
table. Only a small portion of the grille is shown, but you get a great
view of the one-piece curved windshield used on 1941-42 Crown Imperials.
