'59 back to square one



Bill,

If you still don't know what to do about your engine read this post again. Most 
of us have already posted our thoughts at least once. This post basically says 
it all. If you still want to drive around to various shops and ask them about 
rebuilding your motor, that is your decision. Regardless, you will not get a 
good/fair/accurate estimate on the work until you figure out what is wrong with 
the car. From the sound of it, these shops can see you coming from a mile away.
