Paul Volkmann here, '65 Imperial Crown Coupe, Black Plum interior, Persian
White vinyl top, I used to be on the IML and, due to the amount of email
combined with not checking it enough, my email decided to block things.
I rescued my car from a recycling center where it had another car parked on
top of it. Soon after my rescue the yard ceased to exist.
The circumstances behind my coming back are interesting, I received an email
from Greg and Russel (a member of the OIC) intended for Mark (who apparently
also owns an Imperial), due to a very similar email address it came to me
instead. I mentioned my Imperial to them and they became VERY interested due
to it's rarity (and they have a convertible), they put me in contact with
Paul W (an OIC member that lives near me) ---- This got me looking at the
OIC again and I found information that is quite interesting.
I knew a Black Plum inerior was only available in '65 Crowns but ...
I found that it's limited to 4 of the 18 exterior colors, if you want a
vinyl top your exterior color choice is limited to Black Plum and Mauve
Metallic (which still have 11 other interior colors to chose from), and then
the seating style is different between 2dr and 4dr cars.
Does anybody out there, I know there's at least one other on the OIC, have a
Black Plum interior?
Two-door?
Four-door?
Convertible?
