Yes, this has been a peeve of mine for a long time.  Using proper spelling whenever possible isn't a bad idea at all... although I can certainly forgive "torkflight". 

another peeve has been the lack of punctuation and the run on sentences although this has not been a problem in this forum  i can't understand why someone would not capitalize the letter i when referring to themselves or why the first word in a sentence does nOt stArT witH a cApItAl LeTtEr.. and what'S wItH tHe aLtErNaTiNg caps and lowercase? its so much more work to type that way and its so annoying and my brain hurts when i  do it  then theres the word there and their as well as the occasional use of the numbers 2 and 4 in place of the word that they sound like  please refrain from using numbers as wordz unless you are prince, the artist formerly known as prince, the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as prince, or the prince of wales.

My rant is done now.. now let's get back to Imperials!  Any recommendations as to where to buy an electric choke for a Carter carb?
