However this part confuses me...

If one was to go back and perform such acts of revenge, I would hope I could
stand off to one side and be lucky enough to see the authorities catch them
red handed in the act.  Better yet, to see the owner catch them in the act
and take care of business the old fashioned way, out behind the industrial
district where nobody can hear the bones breaking.

please take no offence but that sounds hipocritical, at least slightly. That is using the first post as "caracter revealed".
