Another Imperial?

People not remembering the Imperial may be a good thing. If the Imperial suffered from poor marketing & poor dealer support than that will be long forgotten. The Imperial name has presence! In the dictionary Imperial means, supreme, majestic, magnificent, of larger size or better quality. Powerful meaning to build ad campaigns on wouldn't you say? At least back "then" Chrysler stayed with the nameplates for long periods rather than changing them every few years like they have been! They should learn from the Camry & Accord that name identity & good quality keeps them coming back for more. Let's see, since 1981 we have had the Reliant, Aries, Acclaim, Spirit, Horizon, Omni, Cirrus, Breeze, Status, Lebaron, Sebring, Sundance, Shadow, Intrepid, Concorde, LHS, New Yorker, Daytona, did I miss any? How do you create a following today when the names disappear?

Perhaps digging into the old name plate bin may give us a little of the "good old" Chrysler Corporation back, a great north american car company with identity.
