You're right ... I've not well looked at the pic (it was too early this 
morning..). Ther's also something strange at the left where 1 (2 ?) 
hoses were attached. The hoses run over the heater and seems to go to 
the power brake system and to the intake manifold. It's perhaps the 
vacuum tank ?
