I have a 59 Imp. You have to start the car and put it in
neutral. Have someone depress the brake. The booster will compress out of the
way. Make sure the person inside does not release the brake until you get done
the next part. Unscrew the bolt on to of the master cylinder. I fabricated a
small squeeze bottle to hold brake fluid and I inject it under the master
cylinder cap, as to not have to take the cap completely off. Fill to the brim
and tighten the cap. Then the person can release the brake. I tried compressing
the booster and broke it once, had to find another. I hope this is the same as a
61. I have been told that type F (Ford) tranny fluid is what to use in a
torqueflight tranny.
