The wheels are from Motor Rim Wheel company, but are often called Kelsey Hayes wheels because that is the one everybody knows as a source of wire wheels. The Motor Rim wheels were used by Chrysler and by Packard, and are of much heavier construction than the much more common Kelsey Hayes wheels. If you have such a wheel, you can identify it for certain by looking at the inside of the rim, right next to the valve hole, you will see the manufacturer's imprint stamped into the metal, along with the wheel size code. When you get used to looking at them, you can spot a true Motor Rim wheel from across the parking lot!
