Imperial vs Non-moving objects

I have one of these too.  It involves a 68 Imperial sedan, a tight left curve 
on a very narrow wooded road, rainy weather, D^2 playing it race driver, 
throttle that stuck open (fortunately not wide open!), a limited slip 
differential that when it spins it likes to get BOTH wheels spinning, and ... 
an unfortunate tree!  Happened long time ago.
