Subject: IML: Keller Imperial: Message
From Meadowbrook
I just got back from MeadowBrook also. How could you
miss mentioning seeing the most interesting post war Imperial??
The '55
"prototype" K. T. Keller Imperial just restored and amazing to see.
According to Chip the owner, the car passed through hands for as little as
$300 and was not appreciated for special "one of a kind" that it is.
The
restoration is a miracle to see.
This is really a piece of Imperial
history. Chrylser history and car history.
The car is a 2+2
with a full console which showd up later on 300 letter cars.
It has a one
of a kind see through rear view mirror.
And on and on!
Did anyone
one out there know about this car??
Saw K. T. Keller's grand son and great
grandson at the car also!
Did see the '62 Lebaron too.
The
'55 Imperial won best in class and should have gotten best in
show!
