Keller Imperial: Message From Meadowbrook

I just got back from MeadowBrook also.  How could you miss mentioning seeing the most interesting post war Imperial??
The '55 "prototype" K. T. Keller Imperial just restored and amazing to see.  According to Chip the owner, the car passed through hands for as little as $300 and was not appreciated for special "one of a kind" that it is.
The restoration is a miracle to see.
This is really a piece of Imperial history.  Chrylser history and car history.
The car  is a 2+2 with a full console which showd up later on 300 letter cars.
It has a one of a kind see through rear view mirror.
And on and on!
Did anyone one out there know about this car??
Saw K. T. Keller's grand son and great grandson at the car also!
Did see the '62 Lebaron too.
The  '55 Imperial won best in class and should have gotten best in show!

Just got back from the Meadowbrook car show today. Hot as usual. There was a
nice LeBaron '62, the last Sparrow Strainer model.

What was more interesting was an all original '48 (I recall) Chrysler five
window Club Sedan. This rare model has a wide C pillow, and of course no D
pillow at all, since it does not have the usual seven windows. You really
could see the build quality and choice of materials that the factory
intended; no restoration (up or down) here. And it was superb. It was a joy
to see the cast metal chrome in such good condition. Fits and finishes just
so, paint excellent.

This car once again confirms my memory of superior late 40s Chryler
workmanship, easily supassing Ford and GM.

The only thing missing was Sidney Greenstreet riding in the back, barking
something at the driver. He fits this car perfectly.
