Well,
The 1981 (ex Sea Mist Green) Imp that Andy Summers brought to Carlisle was
pretty close to being a Hot Rod. (I would say it WAS a Hot Rod).
He had 4BBL carb, no smog pump or EGR, and dual exhausts. A new steering
wheel, console shift from a Cordoba, and Cordoba bucket seats did the
interior.
Wide tires and a more subdued vinyl trim piece down the side and a fresh
white paint job did the exterior.
Of course the obligatory LOUD stereo with sub woofer in the trunk topped it
off.
Except for his choice of music, I sure liked the car!! (Sorry Andy!) 8-)
