I've been MIA on the IML for a bit since Carlisle...life has been hectic. To those of you who bask in my quasi-daily wit and wisdom, I apologize, and hope that the withdrawl period hasn't been too much of a hardship. Anyway. Whitewalls and tires in general...before taking Silver to Carlisle, I sprayed the entire surface of all the tires, wheelcovers, and whitewalls with Simple Green. Wiped them clean with a paper towel, and it was amazing! Whitewalls looked like new, tires were black but not that irritating shiney look you get from Armor All et al, just nice and subdued and conservative...exactly like a '67 Imperial should be. And the 20 pound wheelcovers shined up to very presentable. A little Eagle One NEVR-DULL on the stubborn oxidation and I had wheelcovers from a #2 car on my #4/#5 Imperial. ===== --Mike Pittinaro Piles of pitted chrome Hubcaps along the floorboard My junkyard-bedroom __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
