Cross Country Imperial Trek!

G'day folks,

Myself and two friends will be picking up my 1973 Imperial on July 30th
and will be heading across the US back home to Ottawa Canada over the
following 2 weeks.  As I haven't done much travelling by car through the
southern states,  I'm looking for some recommended routes.  We're
starting out in northern Arizona and have to head east east east!
Should we be taking a southern route,  mid-America route or what?  Any
sights you can recommend?  For those who may be unfamiliar with where
Ottawa is - we're basically straight north or Syracuse, NY - a 3 hour
drive give or take.  So that means we've got lots of options to get from
point A to point B.

Let me know whatever you think might be cool.  I'm thinking it would be
great to pull into Graceland with this big ole boat - even though Elvis
preferred Cadillacs maybe he'd make an exception for my Imperial!
(Some more Elvis trivia  : Here in Ottawa we actually have a street
called "Elvis Lives Lane" - No kidding!)

Rob,
Whichever route you finally decide on, I'd highly recommend going thru the Detroit area so you can stop and take in the W.P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills Michigan.
Here's a link to the Museums page if you are interested:

Hope you have a great time cruising across country!
