Chrysler Imperial/ Y designation



Brad,

Are you referring to the VIN?  The 74/75 Imps had the VIN starting with  YM
(Imperial, price class Medium), but the 76-78 NYB's started with CS (Chrysler,
price class "special").  The only Y I've seen associated with the NYB is the
hood stamp.
