61 and 63 door handles?

I was thinking about melting a soft metal like brass &
pouring it right in as the door handle void is a natural
mold for this sort of thing if held in a vice in a
horizontal manner, but had not researched exactly what
would be required to do this without meltign the potmetal
and also allowing chrome to adhere metallurgically.
