To paint or not to paint



Steve,

I'm sureyou will get lots of feedback on this, and many different opinions.
Here's mine. WAIT until you can have the work done by a quality shop, even
if it is a few years. First of all, you have a quality car and it would be a
shame to "degrade" the '59 with shoddy bodywork. Second, it's much more
difficult to "un-do" someone else's inferior work than it is to do it right
in the first place. If your  Imperial is in good mechanical condition, and
somewhat presentable, then enjoy it as it is until you can have the rest of
the work done. Again, this is just my opinion, however I've heard the same
from many other collectors.
