George And Peter; I don't want to be a pooper but I remember that there were at least two versions of the Lambert disk brakes that were used between 1949 and 1956. I have a Motor Manual from 1954 here and I remember that they changed the design of the Lambert brakes around 1953 or so. I could look it up and find out the differences but I do know that the 1955 disk brake parts were not interchangeble with the ones used in 1952. Peter you may end up having to get a rotor made, or at least adapting something similar, these brakes were rare when they were made and the parts are virtually non existant now. I'm not sure if I can help you with brake parts or not, but, if you mail me off list, possibly I can get you in touch with people that may have the parts, or I may have something you could use, as I am currently restoring a 1955 Limo that uses the same breaks. So, if you like give me details of the parts needed, I'll try to help. mccollamge@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > George ...
