The carburetor in the retro-fit kit was a simple two barrel with an oxygen feedback, solenoid controlled and the typical electric choke. The service manuals for these Imperials is also applicable to the other Chrysler cars, senior models, and the carb and its service requirements are all in there. A TSB was written in '84 or '85 with a modification to the accel pump or metering jet settings, and it worked.
