Body/Paint free estimates

I agree with Mark Mcdonald's previous assessment, there's just something
here that bugs me. 10 dollars a day storage? The car is in the shop being
worked on, it's not being stored. I don't remember a shop I was ever in
charging a customer for storage on a car we were working on. Now if the car
had been brought in early, or was stored for awhile due to waiting on the
insurance company or stored for whatever reason, I could see maybe charging
a fee. But charging storage when they're already charging the customer for
working on the car, doesn't seem right to me. Over 5K$ is a serious chunk of
change, before you spend that much, check out some other paint shops in the
area.
The fellow may be very good, but that storage fee has me wondering, does he
have the bill padded anywhere else? Looks like a judgement call, and if
you've seen his work and it's really that nice, it may be worth the
investment. But I'd check around some more, before I committed to the job.
