hi all, lately i've been watching a show on "showcase"
channel here in canada.
the show is called "trailer park boys" and is set in a
trailer park (duh); it involves 2 guys who have
returned home to the trailer park after serving 18
months in jail.
one guy lives in a black 75 or so newyorker (weathered
flat paint, missing the right front door and hubcaps
but still has a nice green interior) and drives it
occasionally when it runs.
the manager/security guard of the trailer park drives
a 77(?) nyb that looks immaculate ( triple faun
beige/"heather"?).
about once an episode the beige car shown speeding
through the trailer park and screeching to a halt at
the site of latest incident caused by the boys.....
usually its fairly amusing but its nice to see these
cars used in a fairly new series.
