It's now available at http://members.imperialclub.com/elijah/ (the link from the IML Year by Year page for 1971 also works). If you see any problems with the page, please let me know. > and what exactly does a tune up consists of.... On the '71 Imperial, a basic tune up should consist of new spark plugs and new points and condensor in the distributor. The spark plug wires should be checked and replaced if they show high resistance (I typically just replace them anyway). The distributor cap and rotor should be checked for wear/burn and replaced if needed. The timing should be checked and adjusted if necessary. Be sure to use AutoLite spark plugs rather than the Champions the car originally came with. Champions are no longer built to the same specs and quality as they were in '71. AutoLites are actually a better plug and will eliminate pinging (assuming timing is correctly adjusted). Best luck, Elijah 1965 Imperial LeBaron (currently with a busted eye) 3 1971 Imperial LeBarons __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
