Nat-

Yes, the computer will work fine but you may be better off buying a Mopar
Performance ignition package for your 318. You get an orange box spark
computer, new distributor, ballast resistor, and harness for around $170 or
so. Check Summit Racing for a current price.

My 82 had a GM throttle body and a nameless ignition unit on it when I
bought it. (Someone went to a lot of expense to screw up a perfectly good
car) I cleaned up the mess with an Edlebrock 1205 carb, manifold, and Mopar
ignition unit.
