Many thanks to all who answered - especially Elijah, who pointed me to  the elusive numbers I was certain were "someplace" in the OIC site! Now  with several printed sources giving the same weight for the car from  the factory, I can highlight the pertinent line and send the whole mess  in to the dweebs in Olympia.
  
  What Fred forgot was the SECOND time we voted to reduce license tabs to  a flat rate of $30, the bureaucrats merely put in a slew of new fees  and additional constraints - this weight fee requirement is only one of  them. The poor folks with the motorhomes are really getting screwed  over..... and the WA legislature can't figure out why so many people  keep their vehicles licensed in other states.

  Then there's the gas tax, but do not get me going.......
  
  Oh yeah - the OTHER thing Fred forgot was the amazing number of DEAD  people who vote "D" in each Washington election - I guess the dead "R"s  just go to Palm
 Springs or something.
