The so-called expert is an imposter.  He has
apparently never had dealings with a pre-'62 Chrysler
transmission since none of them had a Park position. 
Avoid like the plague or your trans will be held
hostage for months, and never be fixed correctly.

Go to the Chrysler 300 Club "Sources" page for a list
of rebuilders familiar with your transmission.  1960
Imperials shared most driveline and suspension parts
with the 1960 300-F.  It may cost extra to have it
sent to one of them, but you will likely save many $$$
and headaches in the long run.
