Hey guys! It has been a while since I have posted. But I do read and save some articles for future repairs. I have a two tone blue 1963 Chrysler Imperial. I took the heads off yesterday and was really happy that the cylinder walls looked pretty good ,no scratches or rubs. So next I go to the machine shop and have them replace the valve seat seal and rebuild the heads. Looks like I can just rebuild the top end of the engine. For my 413 I bought a new carb, cam, lifters, water pump, rolling rockers, plugs wires ect. I'am also changing the ignition system from points to cap and rotor. But I am sure you will see me posting a little more just thought I would let everyone know how the restoring was going.
