IML: '66 Poor Running & Stuck Door

On a '72 440 I have, the nylon coated cam sprocket was very worn when I got the car. It would surge slightly at speed, crank long before firing, had low vacuum, rough idle, and a jumpy timing mark. All was solved with a new timing chain and steel sprockets.

For the door, I've read on the list here that raising the vehicle with a floor jack by the frame rail under the stuck door may work, also spraying the latch parts inside the door thru the window opening may free up the mechanism. There would be some info on this in an archive search http://www.imperialclub.com/Search/index.htm
