I thought it was worse with heat, no its just worse as the days go by. I
am showing 12.81v on the battery AFTER I tried for 2-3 seconds to start
it, nowhere near the correct rpm (dragged to a stop almost). The battery
was showing 14.60v when the car was running the other day. Got to be the
starter Right??? This mini starter, I can just ask for a starter for a
19?? Dakota. -Charles
Seems to me that it must be the starter. I would imagine the bearing
inside have failed causing the internal parts to bind.
