Your skepticism is well deserved, Mark.  I've seen this car, about a year
ago, and don't feel it's being fairly represented.  Yes, it has sat in a
warehouse for many years...in San Francisco...on the waterfront.  Very damp
conditions, and exposed to salt air.  There was quite a bit of rust near the
back window...in the usual place for a '57 to 59.  I thought the interior
was quite spartan for an Imperial, and it surely wasn't an "Impressive Car".
I had an opportunity to purchase it then, and had no interest.  As for the
mileage, it may be authentic or not...no comment on it.  But as has been
mentioned, ultimately it's not the miles driven but the condition of the
car.  It's definately a car to "See" before "Bidding"...
