IML: '57-'58-'59 rear fenders

We just removed the bumpers for replating during the on-going restoration of my Aquitania, and found that the lower rear fenders are in much worse shape than expected.  My restorer said that it would be very labor-intensive to re-create the compound curves in the fenders, and is going to try to find some rust-free fenders during a trip to the Phoenix-area junkyards later this month.

 

Question is, are the lower rear fenders the same for these three years - '57, '58 and '59?  They look the same, but looking and being are two different things.  Also, if he finds a coupe or a sedan, would that portion be interchangeable with a 4-door hardtop?  If he's not successful, I'll also try Lowell Howe in California.
