  I run 20W50 in my '69 most of the year, and 10W40 in the winter (actually,
this is what I've done with all of my big-engines car). I use Castrol and
Wynn's Supreme Plus oil treatment because they have a good rep with people I
trust, though I'm sure there are plenty of good oils out there. This combo's
never let me down, so I stick with it.
  If everything goes well and I have my current car long enough to need to
rebuild the engine, I'll probably go with a synthetic after that.
