Re: IML: '63 Le Baron vs American Family Insurance

Go to the store and purchase "The Old Car Value Guide". Look up your car and rate its condition. The top value showing for a '63 LeBaron right now is around $17,000. No Ebay auction in recent history has hit that number, or even close to it.

The magazine is considered valid by most insurance companies. It also explains the correct way to value old cars.

You should look up you other cars too, and make sure that you have the correct amount of coverage on them. I insure my collector cars with J.C. Taylor, which is geared towards this type of coverage. There is a mileage limit, but I never seem to be able to reach it on any of the cars that I have covered that way.
