I have been planning to get under the car and change the starter, but it is parked in the back yard, not on a cement slab. It is under cover, but not sitting on something solid. I don't mind working on my Imperials, but I do not like crawling under them in dirt. It seems like such a dilema, but then so is not having the car able to run. I am sure that I will get motivated before too long, especially with the expanding inspiration from this group! I believe that I have narrowed it down to the starter motor. Also, the neutral safety switch is fowling up. I do get a "clack" down at the starter solinoid if I pull on the gear selector while it is in "Park" and hold the key in the start position. >> >> Paul >> >> In an email dated Wed, 10 11 2004 6:16:58 pm GMT, Morgan Moore <materialgurl@xxxxxxxxx> writes: >> >> >Hello >> > >> >Personaly I find the performance of the 68 to be better, but that is >> >likely because the 67 has an engine out of a 66 lebaron, and 413 heads >> >with smaller valves.
