Elwood Engel designed women's shoes and alarm clocks before going to Ford in the 1950's.  I wonder what they looked like?  The women's shoes probably had chrome buckles and fuselage styling.....  I'll keep an eye on Ebay for a pair.

 

I just got an article about his career that should go up on the site in the coming months - he looks sorta like an Elwood in the photos.  Keep an eye on the "Whats New" button for it in rhw mwsium future.
