COOOOOL Imperials! and invite to a meet?

I agree with several who have said that there's something wrong if you are
overheating in regular driving. On our last outing, stuck in the SR 522
stop-n-go parking lot on an 88-degree day, AC blasting for all it's worth,
Lucille's temp gage never came up but a needle's width from her normal (pretty
cool!) operating temp. Several newer cars were pulled over that afternoon, but
not the Big Old Car they so disdain in traffic. (it never ceases to amaze me
how many hostile looks this car brings in the metro area - once we get "out"
the looks change to admiring rubbernecking).

This weekend we are going to be at the Sky Valley Antique Tractor Club's annual
Tractor Show and Threshing Bee, south of Monroe off highway 202, Friday,
Saturday and Sunday. Hubby is taking his tractors, and I am taking Lucille to
be in the car and truck show-n-shine row. It would be fun if a couple of other
local Imperials could show up? This is not a car show at all, but most of the
folks who love old tractors also love to see the great older cars and trucks,
and it's a nice relaxed venue.

Anyhow, if you are interested and need directions, give me a shout off list,
I'd love to meet you and your Imperials!
