It's nice to have someone out there who has such a high opinion of these
car's value. I don't think my car is worth anything like $15,000, but the
market will speak to us in 4 more days.
Maybe if it had been painted up and detailed the way the 64 was, but I'm a
fan of leaving them original, even if a little worn looking.
As for the 64, I'm pretty sure that seller is a dealer, and I'll refrain
from any more comments beyond the opinion that touting one of these cars as
an investment ("$100,000 some day soon!") is not a healthy contribution to
the hobby.
These cars are not investments, they are expensive toys, to enjoy for as
long as you feel able, and then to pass along to someone else who will
preserve them. We don't really own them, we are just temporary caretakers.
