55 dash pad

I have seen the pictures showing the seam in brochures for both the '55 
Chrysler and the Imperial, but I have only seen one car with a pad like that 
and it had been replaced. I have had two '55 Imperial Sedans and neither one of 
them had the seam in the middle of the dash, but I do believe that there were 
cars produced that way.
