60 imperial paint/brining back a shine

3M Perfect it III is a great product.  It removes 1000 grit sanding scratches and leaves a high polish ready for wax.  I use an air buffer with a foam pad..  This is the product I'll be using when I color sand the 300 later in the paint saga.

Subject: IML: 60 imperial paint/brining back a shine

Does anyone have a product they would recommend to bring back the shine on my 60 Imperial's paint ?.  The finish is now dull ,and a bit rough.
The only product I can think of to use  is  Dupont rubbing compound.
Is there something better on the market  ?
