Imperial Registry

Don't have the technical know-how any longer to do
this but if we could create a data-base that was
populated from a web site, people could just enter
their data and hit enter with NO manual effort
required by IMLers (other than entering our own cars).
 I don't think it would be difficult.

Ehnancements COULD be screens showing particular
years.  Owners email addresses should be optional.

Here is the thing about asking for VIN's.  In some
states, Alabama for example, with a VIN, I can get a
tag for YOUR car.  I can then write a bill of sale to
you (or someone else) and the car can be titled in a
'title' state.  Perfectly legal and I've done it.  For
this reason some people may not want their VIN on a
web site.  Personally, it would not concern me as
anyone can see the VIN by opening the door or looking
in the windshield.  Just a consideration.  Perhaps we
just do not report the VIN's.  How do other registrys'
do it?
