SEEMS POSSIBLY RELATED, OR MAYBE NOT. I ORDERED AND RECEIVED FROM ONE OF OUR PREFERRED SUPPLIERS NEW SHOES. WHEN MECHANIC ATTEMPTED TO INSTALL TOLD ME THEY NEED TO BE SANDED DOWN APPROX 1/4 INCH TO FIT, EVEN WITH ADJUSTMENT ALL THE WAY. NORMAL? HE SPECULATED THAT THE DRUMS HAD BEEN REPLACED AT SOME POINT BY ANOTHER AND THAT WAS THE REASON. HE TURNED THEM BUT DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE THEM TOO THIN. If that brake isn't functioning, the car should not be on the road.
