Hello all: I read through the web-site regarding the pros & cons, tips & tricks, of DOT 5 brake fluid. I have replaced all lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and any other brake part possible, on my '65 300L (w/ Imp 440 - required content). I am now going to hook everything up, use DOT 5, bench bleed the MC, and bleed the brakes. A note on the web-site suggests that DOT 5 has a tendency to get air bubbles. A suggestion is to heat the fluid up prior to using to eliminate the air bubbles. Here's the question: I'll assume I don't want to boil it - just a nice simmer? ... for 15 minutes? ... 30 minutes? ... until it reaches a certain temp? If someone can offer insight, I would greatly appreciate it.
