RE: IML: Imperial Eagle Logo & Lions/Branches and Arrows/Griffin



You are probably looking at a Griffin. That is another symbol of Imperial Rome, and is associated with Chrysler Imperials.

By the way, just because the car doesn't contain all of these elements in the logo, doesn't mean that they aren't there. Check the advertising. Kenyon posted a link to one today. I also think that the shop manual cover for 1960 has the eagle with the branch and arrows clasped in its talons.
