IML: Adding AC to a Car

I'm contemplating buying a Chrysler that was ordered without AC.  I'm 
wondering just how difficult & costly it would be to add "correct" 
from-the-period AC.  Not an underdash unit, but as close to factory AC 
as possible.  Can it be done?
