I have followed the long thread about body construction with some interest. I recently sold a 75 for two hundred as a parts car-it had rusted through badly at the rear haunches below the vinyl top cover. The rusted out portion extended all the way into the trunk. The car had been parked outside for several years after the transmission failed. I think the main weakness with these cars was rust out, especially in Northern climes-and when a unibody suffers from severe rust the entire integrity of the car is at issue. This is not as much of a problem with body-on-frame design. Trying to repair a rusty unibody is a real project-TED
